Rohit Susheela Residence

Built on a 40’ X 60’ site, the main elevation incorporates a series of staggered bands which provides privacy to the interior space while ensuring light and ventilation. The foyer is enhanced by a water feature at entrance. The central triple height volume connects all levels of the house which holds the dining with a central skylight that caps the triple height lighting up all the common areas. The triple height also allows large visual connection between spaces from the home theatre above to the foyer below. The two bedrooms above living room are pulled apart to allow daylight in this space. The staggered bands of the main elevation form a part of light source and ventilation in spaces like the guest bath also providing privacy. Landscaping is incorporated in forms of court beyond the dining, roof gardening in the balcony which overlooks the street and terrace gardens
